Kuker keju dipadu dengan gula, menjadikan rasanya unik, gurih2 manis...

(This is the best seller of my cookies. Almost everyone loves it. Need a high patience to make it no wonder the price is high. I have shared this recipe in the NCC mailing list in 2005 and got rating A+ from one of the moderator, Riana, tks Riana and NCC. Almost every year NCC-ers discuss about this cookies and makes me famous hahahaha Femmy Cheese Button, yes Cheese Button is my last name :-D

Ingredients:
- Butter 325 gram
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Egg yellow 3 pcs
- Egg white 1 pc
- Edam cheese 150 gram
- Cornstarch 100 gram
- Flour 350-400 gram
- Cheddar cheese for the topping

For the icing:
- Icing sugar (confection sugar) 250 gram
- Egg white 80 gram
- 1/2 tea spoon of cream of tartar (optional)
- Lemon essence/Vanilla extract

Directions:
-Beat the butter and sugar until well blended. Add eggs, then cheese. Last, put the dry ingredients and stir until well blended (kalis apa ya Englishnya hehe).

- Kocok butter dan gula halus hingga tercampur rata, masukkan telur, kocok rata, tambahkan keju. Aduk rata. Masukkan tepung sagu dan terakhir tepung terigu. Uleni hingga rata/kalis..
-Giling tipis 2-5 mm, potong kotak 2x2 cm.
-Olesi glazur, ratakan dan taburi keju cheddar parut
-Angkat satu persatu, tata di loyang kuker.
-Oven dengan api kecil hingga matang.

Glazur:
Kocok semua bahan hingga setengah mengembang, tambahkan lemon essence/vanilla extract.

TIPS:
- Supaya glazur tahan lama, tutup dengan lap basah. Kalau agak kering, kocok lagi, tambahkan putih telur sedikit.
- Icing sugar: kalau mau bikin banyak, diayak dulu supaya tidak menggumpal/berbutir2.
- Mengocok putih telur jangan terlalu lama, kalau kelamaan putih telur bisa ringan & kopong :(

aloo mbak.. satu lagi ni yg dah nyobain Cheese buttonnya.. wenak mantap.. tester2 pada nagih.. cuman mbak mo nanyak boleh yah.. kuenya dipanggang sampai glazurnya kering yah.. punyaku cuman sampe keju taburannya kekuningan, takut gosong.. tp glzurnya kok rada lengket2, apa kurang lama dipanggang?..

elik86: salam kenal juga... iya mbak, ini aslinya pake butter semua, kalau dimix dengan margarin saya belum pernah nyoba. Tapi bisa2 aja sih... memang di mana mbak? Karena butter semua makanya harganya jadi mahal tapi proses pembuatannya juga lumayan lama, tapi sebanding kok dengan rasanya :-D
